An apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side – Before & After
This is a project on 72nd Street of the Upper West Side 72 which is close to Central Park in Manhattan. The client is a successful media consultant, well-traveled, sophisticated, art collector and fond of art-deco/ mid-century furniture. The challenge of interior design in an old building in Manhattan is to create more storage space, more closets, and the bathroom and kitchen are usually not very big. Sometimes I wish I could be a magician liked David Copperfield so I could 'create' more square footage in every project I work on.

Several months ago, a palm reader once warned me that I was going to lose a large sum of money in the near future. I scoffed at this but I canceled a hair-removing consultation that could subsequently result in my spending hundreds of dollars. Little did I know that I still couldn’t escape fate.
