Inspired by a soul that breathes music, FELICIART is an expression of my being. I am a creator, a painter, a graphic designer, a singer, a dancer, a pianist, a drummer, a photographer and videographer. I am driven, persistent, aggressive, and colorful. I am an artist. Being a musician, I express my passion through visual art and design. My mother was a piano teacher and my father was a preacher. Growing up, my three sisters and I loved to sing together in church. We formed a girl group called JAZMIN and haven’t stopped since.

I designed our first website in 1999 at the brink of the pop music movement. From there, I began designing our cd covers, business cards, flyers…etc. While promoting the group, I started to gain design clients along the way. After graduating from UCLA, I decided to start a career in design working in the Creative Department at Game Show Network (Sony), Interscope Records (Universal Music Group) and Mobile Messenger while continuing to freelance for independent companies. The bigger JAZMIN got, the larger my clientele grew.

There have been countless producers, mentors and friends that have helped my sisters and I along our musical journey. I fell in love with these individuals. Feeling strongly inspired by my appreciation, I started creating music-inspired paintings as gifts for their studios and homes. One art show led to another and now I am sharing these paintings to tell my story.

I love being in the studio. I love it so much I wanted to capture the amazing talent around me so I began to take photos. This hobby became another part of my career.

I dream BIG. Sometimes too big, but what’s the point of living if you can’t? I appreciate each and everyone of you that took the time to visit my site. I am so blessed and wouldn’t be where I am without my family, my team, my faith. All I want is to inspire others through my work — to dream big enough to love what you do and do what you love.
