Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month is celebrated annually in the United States during the month of May. On October 5, 1978, President Jimmy Carter signed a Joint Resolution proclaiming the first 10 days in May as Asian-Pacific Heritage Week. In 1990, President George H.W.
