Imran’s strive for a breakthrough, can be seen in both his creativity and his looks. His unique voice shows resemblance with his smooth looks. Both aspects represent his tough and perseverance mentality. Far away from his regular habits and musical dogmas, he improvises and writes enthusiastically.

Being a true tough fellow, he follows his own path, avoiding easy often-used roads. Not just to prove himself, but more to further develop his vocal talent independently and without barriers. His perseverance is not that hard to understand. His special connection with music is stimulated ever since he was a little child. His musical preference is Punjabi, R'n'B, HipHop, Reggae, Drum N Bass, Garage, 2 step, Reggeaton, Pop, Dance, Techno and House.

Nowadays a lot of new albums come on the market and a lot of artists try to break through. The latest technical tricks are used to purify voices, the weirdest tunes are made up just to be unique and lyrics are copied from old songs. In this era Imran was inspired to go for it.

He decided to begin his career as a singer. Why? Because he believed he could do better. Imran was inspired by good Punjabi artists like Chan Chamkila Didar Sandhu, Mohammed Saddiq, and R&B Singers. Asiance interviewed Imran from London and we’re hoping to see more of him in the states.

ASIANCE: What do you think of Jay Sean’s success?

Imran: I think he’s done good for Asian artists. He’s worked very hard for his achievement. I think it’s great.

ASIANCE: I read you really want to meet Madonna. What would you say to Madonna if you met her?

Imran: What can I say to her? She doesn’t speak Punjabi. Hahahah I want her to do a feature with me. Like a collaboration; A Punjabi collaboration. I was going to ask her something else? Hahaha! She’s a superstar.

ASIANCE: What do you look for in a woman?

Imran: The heart. She has to be humble and have a clean heart. No ego. She has to be funny as well. Someone you could have a laugh with that doesn’t get upset easily.

ASIANCE: Any upcoming artists coming out in your home country that you could give us a heads up about?

Imran: No. I think I’m the only one! There is nothing new and fresh except me, myself

ASIANCE: What is the ultimate gig for you?

Imran: Perform in front of mainstream artists in America. I want to show them what Punjabi music is all about.

ASIANCE: I like the song Gora Gora Rang. I think you should really collaborate with a major hip hop star in the United States. Who would that be?

Imran: Yes of course! The Game. And T-Pain

ASIANCE: What’s your favorite dish?

Imran: I like to eat Lamb Brioni..Lamb Kebabs.

ASIANCE: Do you visit Pakistan often? Any family still reside there?

Imran: I have family there. I don’t go to Pakistan often.

ASIANCE: When are you coming to the United States?

Imran: I’m coming again on the 16th of January performing in Detroit.

ASIANCE: What are you doing for New Year’s Eve?

Imran: Performing in Dubai.
