Sania's Brow Bar

There are so many brow bars in NYC. Almost as many as there are nail salons.

It surprised me, because I rarely see brow bars in Japan, even in Tokyo.

Also, girls have one question for me 'which brow bar is the best in NY?'

Today, I strongly recommend one of the most wonderful brow bars in Manhattan, ' Sania's Brow Bar'.

The reason why I recommend her is Sania can make the best arch for each person.

She teaches us how to maintain a good arch and what is not good for your brow.

London, Paris, New york captures the angst people in their young twenties. London Paris New York is the story of Nikhil and Lalitha, two completely different individuals who are drawn to each other in spite of their differences or perhaps because of it. The film follows their journey of love as they meet in London, Paris and New York for a night in each city. The film is a coming of age love story mirroring 3 states of love and brings back wit into Bollywood's romantic comedies.

This movie is in Hindi and sometimes English with English subtitles.

This movie was rated a 3.5 star out of 5 stars by Bollywood Hungama. It was such a cute romantic comedy. Also lots of dances and singing songs are included in movies of course!

Let The Bullets Fly

Last Tuesday, the movie screening of 'Let the Bullets Fly' was held.

Let the Bullets Fly is a 2010 action comedy film written and directed by Jiang Wen, based on a story by Ma Shitu, a famous Sichuanese writer. Set in China during the warring 1920s, notorious bandit chief Zhang descends upon a remote provincial town posing as its new mayor, an identity that he had hijacked from Old Tang, himself a small-time imposter. Hell-bent on making a fast buck, Zhang soon meets his match in the tyrannical local gentry Huang as a deadly battle of wit and brutality ensues. The film also stars Chow Yun-fat, Carina Lau, Ge You, Chen Kun and Zhou Yun.

"Let the Bullets Fly" was originally set to be released in September 2010 but was pushed back to December. Made in Mandarin and Sichuanese, the film broke several box office records in Mainland China and Hong Kong, and has received critical acclaim. "Let the Bullets Fly" grossed 730 million yuan (US$111.1 million) at the box office, becoming the highest grossing domestic film in China's cinematic history.

It was such good action and comedy. It is more than 2 hours long, yet I enjoyed it the whole time. The development of the story was awesome! Also you can enjoy Chinese history as well ;)

This movie will coming to NYC the 2nd of March!

 Asian Fit Eye Wear

TC Charton is an eyeglass brand for Asian women, designed by Alexandra Peng.

On Valentine's day, at Style 360, their presentation and event were held.

As you can see in the photo, I wore one of their glasses, and it really fit me. I always wear contact lenses because usual glasses hurt my nose and ear. It sometimes causes headaches.
However these glasses did not hurt me and also they really suit me ;)

If you have problems with your glasses like me, I strongly recommend you use this brand.

Ghassan Yazbeck

On February 17th, iFashion Network launched a set of talented and innovative emerging designers during Fashion Week, at iFashion Network’s emerging designer show. One of the designer's Ghassan Yazbeck's works were introduced. The designer left the crowd fascinated by his unique collection.

He said “One cannot stop their eyes from seeing beauty, for beauty commends the eye,” “I am excited about my first official contribution to the fashion world.”

He graduated with a degree in Fashion Design and is now onto fulfilling his lifelong dream of creating a lifestyle brand.

What I picked up on the most was the last white wedding dress. Previously, his works were casual or simple black and white styles. However, the last dress was a pure white wedding dress. That caught my heart;)

Leather Japan

Leather Japan 2012 made their New York Fashion Week debut with a group of young up and coming Japanese designers, ready to show the U.S. fashion world their unique spin on a classic material; leather.

Leather Japan 2012 is a project organized by the Japan Leather Good Development Committee.

The group was formed to spread the appeal of Japanese leather fashion to the world.

On the 13th of Feb, at Lincoln Center, a presentation of Japanese designers was held.

All works were made from leather. And it looked more than leather!

What I mean is, their works were more flexible and more fantastic!

As the picture shows, they designed bags, accessories, shoes and clothes. Leather stuff always makes us feel more ethic.

The man in the photo is one of the designers, Noritaka Tatehana.
He studied design in London and received his inspiration from a Vogue fashion show.

Also he told me that the strength of Asian women is that we are dainty and delicate. :)
